ESTELAN® 1799 Green

Moisture-hardening retouch lacquer, green

ESTELAN 1799 Green is a moisture-hardening one-component retouch lacquer. It is used for corrections of rotary screens after thermofixation and of flat screens after hardening. After hardening it is highly resistant to acids, lyes and other aqueous chemicals as well as to white spirit and aromates. The resistance to alcohol, glycols, esters and ketones can be considered to be good. ESTELAN 1799 Green has an excellent adhesion to photoemulsions and metals.

APPLICATION With a brush, apply ESTELAN 1799 Green thinly onto the screen areas of the cured rotary screen or hardened flat screen that has to be retouched. The hardening takes place after drying through reaction with air humidity at room temperature. Therefore, the bottle should be closed well and working tools should be cleaned immediately after use.

DRYING TIME Approx. 1-2 hours (depending on application thickness)

CURING TIME Depending on the chemical stress of the retouched area, work can be continued after a curing time of approx 4 hours. Maximum resistance is
achieved after approx. 1-2 days

REDUCING/CLEANING Unhardened: KIWOSOLV L 74

Hardened: PREGAN DL or PREGAN 266

Hardened ESTELAN 1799 Green is very difficult to remove
Clean working tools immediately after use
